Mungalla 3840 is a standout sire this year with 8 sons in the 2026 MAGS draft. In his first crop of calves, 9 of his sons were MAGS bulls and sold for up to $9000 at last year's sale. The stud has also retained one of his sons. His sire, Mungalla Durango, has produced several MAGS, selling up to $25,000. The stud has also used 5 of Durango's sons as stud sires over the years.

This Billabong Hendrix daughter has been retained in the Mungalla herd. She has produced 2 calves in 2 years from the age of 3 and is currently PTIC due at the end of the year. Billabong Hendrix was the $100,000 Top Priced Droughtmaster Bull of 2019. He was everything you'd want in a sire. He had a combination of sire appeal, carcass and structural functionality, as well as exceptional temperament and outstanding fertility. In 2020, Hendrix semen set a new Droughtmaster Record at $8000 for 5 straws. Unfortuneately Hendrix passed prematurely but in his 3 years at Mungalla, his progeny fetched over $250,000 including Mungalla 4076 and Mungalla 4095 who sold for $45,000 and $22,000 respectively at MAGS 2022. Her dam, Mungalla 1167, is a standout cow, hence she was used in the 2020 IVF program resulting in 6 calves. She has produced a further 12 calves for the stud from the age of 2. This includes 4 calves in the last 4 years and at the age of 17, she is PTIC again.
