Mungalla 4080 is the standout sire of this year's MAGS draft. He is represented by 10 sons - Lots 6, 19, 22, 25, 28 45, 49, 65, 85 and 88. In his first calf crop, 2 of his sons sold at last year's MAGS sale for $16,000 and $9,000 and 23 of his daughters sold through the Legacy sale in October. 17 of his daughters will be retained by the stud, a testament to his breeding and quality progeny. The stud has also retained 2 of his son's. He is by the $100,000 Billabong Hendrix, the top priced Droughtmaster bull of 2019. In 2020, Hendrix semen set a new Droughtmaster Record at $8000 for 5 straws. In his 3 years at Mungalla, Hendrix's progeny fetched over $295,000 including Mungalla 4076 and Mungalla 4095 who sold for $45,000 and $22,000 respectively at MAGS 2022. His exceptional temperament, structure, volume, length, excellent fertility and overall sire appeal made him a real standout and we were very sorry to lose him in early 2022. His dam, Mungalla 3241, is  KEY cow. She has produced 5 calves in 6 years from the age of 2, including 2 MAGS bulls.

This daughter of impact sire Mungalla Classic has produced 3 calves in 3 years from the age of 3. Her sire needs no introduction. He has over $530,000 in lifetime progeny earnings and his sons have been consistent performers through the MAGS sale ring. Two of his sons, Mungalla 3688 and Mungalla 3920, fetched $28,000 at MAGS 2021 and MAGS 2022 respectively. Over the years many of his daughters have been retained and 4 of his sons have been used as breeding bulls in the Mungalla herd. His impact has been far reaching and his progeny reflect this. Her dam is also a top performer and marked as a Key Cow. She had 10 calves in 11 years from the age of 2, 9 of which were female!
