Mungalla 4080 is one our young and exciting sires by the $100,000 Billabong Hendrix, the top priced Droughtmaster bull of 2019. In 2020, Hendrix semen set a new Droughtmaster Record at $8000 for 5 straws. In his 3 years at Mungalla, Hendrix’s progeny fetched over $295,000 including Mungalla 4076 and Mungalla 4095 who sold for $45,000 and $22,000 respectively at MAGS 2022. His exceptional temperament, structure, volume, length, excellent fertility and overall sire appeal made him a real standout and we were very sorry to lose him in early 2022.
Mungalla 4080 has only produced 2 crops of calves thus far with 2 sons in this year’s sale and 2 retained sons from his first calf drop – an impressive feat. He has a number of son’s in the early draft for MAGS 2026.
His dam, Mungalla 3241, has produced 4 calves from the age of 2, all of which are registered.
